Hey all, I was on another forum i subcribe to and mentioned i was thinking of buying the Borrego rack from turbocity and a 1 gallon rotopax to go ontop. I had a response that i thought i would find out more about. the response was as follows;

"I'm amazed at the weight being carried. Fellow KLX'er put a 1 gallon fuel cell on his rack, and after about 20 miles of whoops, wide open in 4th gear, the subframe gave up...completely breaking through on both sides. 1 gallon is only about, what, 8.5 lbs?"

Is there much truth to this. If so should I go with the cycleracks rear rack.:confused:

i'd be looking for an oversize tank,if i was in your shoes. carry the fuel in the middle of the bike,and as low as possible. my 2 cents worth.

I second the tank solution

I have to carry a auxilary tank for my Bimmer and I hate it, it works but I hate it.
