Bright Modulating LED Tailight

I'm in the market for a bright modulating LED tail light for a KLR650. I've been trying to get in touch with Road Rocketeer http://www.roadrocketeer.com/ since April but no luck. They haven't returned any phone calls or emails, and get a 403-Forbidden error when I try to access their online store.

Apparently they are near Victoria somewhere. Anybody know anything about these guys, are they as flaky as they appear?

Mine had one when i bought it and I think it is this one it flashes about 8 times when first applied.
It is very bright!!

I stopped by John Valk BMW today, as they were listed as a dealer for RoadRocketeer. They said they don't carry them (anymore?) as they interfered with the bike computer...

+1 for the Adventuretech.ca one. They do make the best one. I have been running one for a few years and no problems (as you'd expect).

I researched it a bit, it seems modulating tail lights are illegal, but I guess most police use discretion and don't ticket...

Anyway, that is a good feature of the Adventuretech ones that allows you to turn it on and off just by a pattern of brake pulls... Thanks for the tip on that one...

The advertisement and the conversation is not right. The tail light does not 'modulate'. It flashes. 100% on 100% off. Headlights modulate. From 20% on to 90% on on a linear ramp and then from 90% on to 20% on also on a linear ramp.
Modulating headlights are legal, but you need to check if you need to do both headlamps or only one.
