All you 950 owners out there with the soft front rims , here is the "bling"

Excel rim with stainless spokes:ss:

From Woodys Wheels Works in Denver, Colorado

I have had dirt bikes for 35 years and have never bent a rim. My 950 had 3 bends in it and 2 out of the 3 I wouldn't be able to tell you when they got bent.

From what I have read this should solve that problem.

Very nice Ken.

Does Woody's charge you a 'core' for your original hub?

Just curious as to the price advantage vs. getting the hoop & spokes directly from Excel / Buchanan in California and relacing yourself / locally...

Is KTM not looking after you guys on this issue?

(Sorry I missed you last weekend.)

I sent my own hub down (cost 24.00 in the mail) I did a little pricing around and I felt that woody,s was the best deal for me. They are very popular amongst the 950 owners in the US.

I asked around about KTM covering the cost of a new wheel (not a stock wheel) and I really didn't get anywhere.

The dinner last weekend was a lot of fun...Too bad you didn't make it.

See you at the bike show?
