Coquitlam to Squamish?

Hi all, new to offroad, only starting to explore, have done the Squamish to Indian Arm route a few times and loved it. Map shows you can continue on via Hixon to Coquitlam, but when exploring from the Coquitlam side, was blocked by water shed gate. Anyone know if this route is possible?

If only you could... but unfortunately that's a no go...

It would be great to have a loop type route like that for the lower mainland...

Also, too bad there isn't a rideable trail from the end of Indian Arm to Buntzen Lake area either...
