Hey a freind of mine is going to buy a CRF230 as a bigginer and play bike, I was just wondering if anyone can give me there thoughts or opinions on this bike. Any hands on experiance would be good as well. Thanks for the help. I know this is a dual sport site but any feed back is appreciated.:hb:

I have ridden the CRF230. Its a great beginner bike. Its nice and light and its not what I would call a rocket so you don't find yourself getting into trouble. The bike is indestructible and very dependable...It will be my next purchase for my son once he grows out of his XR 100

Sorry I didn't mean to make it sound like a kids bike. My neighbour rides one and he is a tad over 40. He weighs about 190 lbs.
