Cush drive?

I just had my rear wheel off for the first time sorting out some caliper/rotor woes. When I went to put the sproket part of the wheel back into the main part it seemed like it didn't want to go flush together.
I rechecked the cushions and they were correct. The spacer seemed to stick out abit?
Question, when the two parts are together is there a small gap1/16" or so between the metal hubs or are they flush? I hope I explained this so you can understand what I mean. Thanks for your help.:?

Joker650, I knew I could count on you. :clap:Thanks so much for those pics. Mine looks the same, there is a small gap. That makes me feel better. My rotor and caliper are also OK now. I took the caliper off and lubed the pins etc. I went for a spin without touching the rear brake and the rotor was cold. Then I rode using both brakes quite firmly and they were about the same temp afterward. Also when I pushed it in the garage no squeeking noise.
Xmas next week for me, my buddy will be back from Idaho with 3 packages for me, also pickup on Monday in Parksville, pipe. new bars, mt-21's, HD tubes. Next days off I'll be busy in the garage. Cheers:hb:
