DRZ Replacement?

Hello, DualSporters:

I truly love my DRZ, but at this point she has 37,000 km on her and as the 2000 model the suspension is not the greatest. I found found myself cruising fleabay looking for new forks, they seem to go for about $150-200 USD, also looking to pick up a spare rear wheel so I can easily swap between dirt and street tires.

So here are a few questions for you all:

1. Anyone have some forks or a rear wheel for sale? If so let me know.

2. Should I even bother with upgrading? The DRZ is great for sure, but maybe there is something brand new out there that the intervening 7 years have put head and shoulders above the DRZ. Should I just get a new bike? And if so, which bike would replace my blue beast? Here are my conditions:

A. Not another DRZ. I would just keep my own until it finally blew up.
B. Has to have street manners similar to the DRZ. I commute from the West End to Surrey 2 days a week.
C. Has to have a similar maintenance sched. No oil changes every 5 hours! No no no.
D. Must be at least as light as the DRZ, but prefer lighter. You would think that in 7 years the technology would be improved enough to deliver similar power in a smaller package.
E. Must have long range tank and touring attachments (racks etc) available.

Thanks in advance!
