Hi all. I am new 'round here. I just picked up a 2006 KLX 250 from Maple Ridge Motorsports. Best deal around. I am just so freakin happy!

So how do you like the bike so far? I'm interested in it as well, and was wondering what kind of top speed it's capable of. I'm not looking to break any land speed records, just want to know how it'll do on the highway. Can it do 130km/h? Also, what RPM is it doing around that speed?

Well the ride today was SWEET!

We went up blue mtn off of 256 in maple ridge. Great riding, but a little snowy.

As far as how the bike runs, it has high end power due to the front sproket.Slow sections, it justidles through.Some guys switch over to a 13 tooth, but I am happy with the way it is for now.

Very light, and agile.

I am also about 150 lbs so the power is fine for me.
