hey I solved this problem it was easy as pie.
Take off the plastic, cut the wires to the kickstand...solder them together and tape with electrical tape. then just remove the whole bottom switch assembly, wire and bolts...to save an an ounce...
I did this after the first time the sucker cut out on a jump landing and it was NOT GOOD. this was a great mod. no problems since.
It is a simple circuit, all you need to do is complete it with a good solder / tape job and never worry about a diode or anything else. I have a real nice iron if you want to borrow it...pm me...
