KLX 250 problems with the electric starter?

I can try 7-8 times to start my bike (KLX 250) before it finally starts. Anyone else has this problem? It doesnt matter if I use the choke or not. Someone told me it might be the gas (I used premium) and I was supposed to use regular..!!!???

Shut off the fuel, if the KLX sits for a few days with the fuel on it will be hard to start.

Full choke when cold, I use premium gas every fill up.:D

I use the choke all the way....it sounds like it would start and then dies. then I have to wait 15 seconds as per manual and try again. Could there be something wrong with the bike or am I just not doing it right?

My KLX starts with the first push on the starter button. I push the choke in after a few seconds don’t like the high RPM on a cold engine. The only time it will stall is when it is real cold and I take the choke off before it warms up enough.
