At sea level I'm running a 160 and 1 1/2 turns out. I was thinking 160 might be too rich at your elevation. Try a plug chop to test. Did you get the extended fuel mix screw?

I was thinking It might be a bit rich, and yes I have the extended fuel screw. The bike gets insurance tomorrow so I'll see if I can fit in a plug chop test.

I just used one of the Moose Racing repack kits (black and grey coloured, looks like really coarse fiberglas insulation) and I can't really hear much of a difference between the old FMF brand stuff that was in my Q2 and the new 3rd party material.

I'll have to download a decibel measuring app for the iPhone and check it intermittently to see if/how it degrades over time and post the results.

Just ordered a FMF Q4 from Gnarly Parts last night. With all of the positive comments out there it seems like the exhaust of choice for the DR. We'll see how it goes when it arrives.

Based on multiple opinions and various forum postings, it looks like I'll be able to keep the stock needle and just shim it with some washers. Drill the slide and remove the snorkle...easy!

Mostly looking forward to shedding the weight of the stock pipe...It's huge!
