hey everyone !
im new to adventure riding in general. short story, Bikes scare the crap out of me.... so to fix that phobia; i got my street license lol.
as it stands, i am in Vancouver for school (UBC).... I have NO gear or bike.
i was just wondering what you guys thought would be a good "starters set up" .. i was thinking a DR 400 ( i dont know if one year is better then the other, or is a DRZ model is better then any other model ). Saying that, i am pretty smart compared to most kids these days haha,
As for gear, are there any good names to want, and others to stay away from ?
I know obvious stuff, but is there any technical glitches with the Suzuki's ? or are they pretty bulletproof with the proper oil changes and what not ?
and as for budgets, im a student, but i would like to spend a little to ensure that im safe!
oh, Im pretty sold on Suzuki's, I would get a yamaha too (they are great bikes- solid).... but they seem really rare on the enduro market eh?
any advice would be great !
thanks everyone !
