So stoped at Valley Motorsports in Kelowna today and wouldn't ya know it...they had one of these sitting there.
All I gotta say is "WOW...What a sweeeeet bike"!
Threw a leg over and fired 'er up.....schh-wingggggg:tup::tup:
Does that bike ever sit high though. I had to "one-toe" it off to one side, definatly made for longer-legged riders. The sales guy there was bout 6'2" and he could just sit flat foot.
If it wasn't for the height(not being able to touch the ground verry good)the weight wouldn't be too bad, when the sales guy wasn't out there I layed it down and picked it back up(cuz thats what u end up doing with a dirtbike)and it was not too big of a deal:hr

could have been cuz I was worried bout getting caught laying an $18,000 bike down on the pavement)
When running, that thing is soo smooth,I was really surprized. Thought it would vibrate like the LC-4's do.Could hardley notice any vibrations at all sitting on it.Talk about throttle responce...no lag at all when the throttle is blipped.
$17,495 with a 1 year warranty....now thats kind of sik. They want someone to fork over 20g's (by time tax is done) and not even give ya 2 or 3 years. Maybe they don't have enough faith in the LC-8 engine?
This would be a bike that a guy could get into a lot of trouble on in the city, and be a freak'n blast in the bush. But for that price you are getting a naked bike. No farring or wind screen, brush guards or even a rear rack or tach even.
I think for a guy like me the Adventurer would be more practical....and easier to sell to Wifey:ted:
