For you folks with an 09 KLX250s, Unabiker is now selling radiator guards. I just installed a pair on my bikeand I must say they look friggin rugged. Should definately add some protection. Included are front face guards as well as a brace that mounts to the frame. The guards will provide frontal and side protection as well as help prevent foldback.
As for installation, what a PITA. What should have taken only minutes per side took hours. Fitment is very tight and takes a little tweakingat least in my case. Got the left side on within a few hours after lots of swearing. The right side was a nightmare. Had to really work things in to place as fit was very very tight. Had to be careful not to strip any threads in the mount holes. After getting some longer bolts and lots of tweaking Ifinally got it on. In fairness the rad may have been a little out of alignment due to a wipeout last fall. It isnt perfect but hopefully will do. Just hope I can get the plastics back on the right side once I get some new ones.
As for the product, fitment could be a little easier but the guards should add great protection. Plenty of info on Thumpertalk about this brand of guard including fitment issues (other models of bikes).
Will post pics probably this weekend.
