i love me some road construction.. thier tearin up the main drag out near my house. it gives the dualsports around here a chance to ride like lunatics out in the minds eye!

tho it doesnt look like too much fun for the r1/gsxr/ducati crowd. its the only chance i get to pass 'em like THIER goin in reverse:tup:

we got that goin on in beautiful bc as well. bonus is we have mountains and mountains and logging roads galore from vancouver to the rocky mountains.

they don't call us flatlanders fer nothin you know! the only loggin roads 'round here are up in maine. headin up there next weekend to go raftin, rest assured, the klr (killer's her name) is coming with. the rest of those guys are takin a van, but it wouldn't be my style if i didn't ride up. do ya think they make pontoons for klr's?!

our claim to fame is sand-pits and lots and lots of quarries. so our quarry roads are like your loggin roads. although, the quarry roads really keep you on your toes. cuz theres lots of pieces of granite (sharp granite) and if you hit one your day is done. if you fall and go boom it might end your week

here's a pic of vancouvers closest mtn. grouse mtn at 4k feet asl . local ski hill wher they'll be doing some 2010 olympics at. the view from up there is phenominal especially the night time lights of the city. and the water is salty.
