Suzuki DRZ400S Rad Guards

For all the DRZ400S riders out there without Radiator Guards, Good news is coming. I Just received a email from Devol Racing and they have just finished getting all the specs for a Rad Guard for the street model DRZ KLR400 too:dr:

Dirtybill, I know no ones forcing me.....I already have the Unabiker ones ( gold anodized) I just thought I'd mention that the Unabiker'sseem to be the guards of choice for DRZ owners ( the owner of Unabiker rides a DRZ)The DRZ forum on Thumpertalk.com has a wealth of information about stuff like this. I will say though the Devol skidplate is the best out there (until Unabiker comes out with their's...lol)

For everyones information I am just letting you know what is becoming available, I assumed that most of us know that Unibiker is the only rad guards available to us. Its good to have choices, the Devol have not even been made, so its a little early to say they are not as good as the Unibikers. Last but not least the Devol will be easy and cheaper for the DSBC group to buy. I enjoy Thumpertalk, but most of the things that are discussed are hard for us to get are hands on, that said it is important to get as much info here as possible on all products.

tomcycle tonks here. new to this whole thing . bought a 04 drz s in aug 04. I'm new to the "E" mail and only have it at work when i can get on the computer EH?just putting"the right stuff" on my cycle. engine gaurd, hand guards, just putting on the case guards,,, still needing rads guards. and mt21that i heard from the guys at the bike show.( forgot the names) but i have been to the suzuki shop in surrey. my question is when is there a ride? and maybe that tire repair/change workshop???? i need to know more Eh!!:hb:

I'm new here and I may be able to help some of you guys out getting the parts you want. I live right on the border. Some of my BC hot Rod buddies have thier parts shipped to me and then they come pick them up sometimes we even install them before they go back across the border. Just a thought.

It's rare that you find a shop conducting their business in an absolutely outstanding manner, and I found one so I thought I'd share it with you guys.

There is a Radiator Shop in Chilliwack on Yale Road West (Just East of the Yamaha and Honda dealerships) called "The Radiator Shop".

I got both my rads un-taco'd and un-twisted there forUNDER$90 incl taxes for the pair. It would have $600 to replace them. They were pretty mangled, and these guys straightened them right up like new. They also cleaned, pressured tested, and repainted them glossy black. I was astounded!!

What's more, they were professional, courteous, prompt, polite, and the shop was neat as a pin. A real surprise! A++ rating!

I was very very impressed. The had them ready waaaay faster than they had promised!!

Just an FYI for those like dirtybill and myself that make frequent unscheduledtrips to the ground. Hope you guys find this useful.
