Just wondering if many of you run without license plate lights. I don't have one on my R1 and have never had a problem. I got the tail light conversion from Jesse and put it on today. I saw on line where a guy took off the plate light then put the plate bracket in it's spot(holes line up) just turn it upside down to get the right angle then he cut the bottom off of the black plastic tail section below the plate. It looked pretty good.
I am up to the part "cut" disadvantages 1. stopped by police 2. resale, can't put back as was without getting new part. I still think I am going to cut it unless I get a better idea soon. I am back to work tomorrow for 4 days so time to think. What is the feeling out there on this. I hardly ever drive in the dark and a cop should be able to see it with his lights on anyways.
