This rocks, I cannot belive the handling.

I went to install a JD jet kit and found one already in there, as I bought it used. So if you are in the market for a Jet kit for the 06-07 610 geve me shout.

I need to ride!:D

Congrats! That looks like it would be fun as hell to rip around on the streets with! Did you order the parts and do it yourself or did you get it done at a shop as I'm thinking of outfitting my 610 next year for some SM ripping...

Cheers and have fun shredding your tires!

A buddy of mine helped me out, as the Husky is silghtly different so it takes a bit to locate the correct hubs. I think Bill is says 18 and change for a set of wheels. you can get it cheaper if you look around.

Just a heads-up to any fellow'08 610 owners out there, there is a crankcase bolt that is tucked away just underneath and to the right of the oil filter that came loose on me and actually fell out when riding. I check all my bolts before riding as I know the 610 is a beast and the fasteners they used in Italy aren't the highest quality, but I honestly must have missed this one. I noticed oil leaking out near myoil filter after my ride and that was the source. I went to replace it, but the threads were damaged so I have to get it re-tapped...:(

Thank God I have my street bike to ride in the meantime...but I am definitely jonesing to do some hillclimbing on my Husky!

p.s. For anyone else out there who finds the stock front forks super-stiff and choppy, I adjusted the height of the triple clamp from the top to the middle position and it made a huge difference by putting more of the weight on the front end.
