Tech Day for KLR

I posted this in Cam Chain Tensioner in another thread but thought it might be better in here as well. Is there any interest in having a KLR tech day in Poco? Is there anyone who would step up as the "techie" who would be able to guide some of us through the "Doo"! Maybe around the end ofFeb or mid Marchto allow folks long enough to order the kit and gaskets, yet have it done before Mar 24th for the spring Noob ride JavaJude just posted! I can provide a work area and might be able to get a bike work table or two but if anyone else can bring one that would help, and if anyone already has the special tools for this, again I'd apreciate your letting us borrow them! If you're interested or can help out,either post here or PM me and we'll see how it goes!

KLR Tech day in Chilliwack Sunday February 4th. Main focus is one Doohickey, two bowl vent "T" mods, wiring and such.

Poco Red - Norm put on quite the demonstration today that included a doohickey install.

Norm - My KLR and I both thank you for thelesson and help with my sub frame upgrade.

Dennis, glad everything went well! The list Norm said you guys got done was extensive! I'm very disappointed to have missed out today, water was starting to get into my boots by 200th! And it looked like it was going to be around all day! Hope to hook up another time!

i should be even more thankfull to Norm...since he did nearly everything... but i can t forget your help too Dennis for my subframe upgrade...it was slightly more difficult than yours...

damn this is the second time i met riders without knowing their forums username... next time we should introduce ourselves with both real and forum's names...

No worries Jerome! Hopefully we can hook up at the upcoming Noob ride on March 24th! Northern Rob and I had such a blast last time we're looking forward to it.

Noob ride on March 24TH???

Why is this the first i've heard of this? Is this a DSBC noob ride or just you and some buds? Inquiring minds want to know!!!!! :wi:

BCDB this is something JavaJude talked up at the bike show. I did think I saw another posting on the board confirming it but can't find it now! Hopefully Java Jude will update it in the upcoming rides area soon!

Wow! What a day! Norm transformed my bike. After doing my "Doo" and installing a new 300 watt Stator he then proceeded to rewire my lights and heated grips onto relays and the whole setup is pretty slick! Thanks Norm, next time lets go riding!
