Test rode a 950 Adventure Today

Spunky's has a demo 950 available so I went up there and took it for a rip today. Wow, I loved it! It feels like a slightly larger version of my DR650 but has more power than my VFR. I didn't get to ride it off road, but it certainly feels like it would be effective there. On the road, it had no problems doing 170+ and felt great in the turns on Hilliers Road.

So, maybe I should replace the VFR, KLX and DR with a 950 and a KLX250......

I'd like to try the 950 out to see how it compares to the 640, bet it's a lot smoother. Was that a demo day at Spunkys or is the 950 there for test rides till it sells?

Not a demo day, I think he has it as a demo for the season. He has 2 other ones on the floor, one orange and one black.

That sounds good to me, next time down I'll give the 950 a whirl. I think the 950 and the KLX-250 would be a good do all combination.
