I am sure that you were exceeding the posted speed limit and how did you get that diesel to go over limiter? Remember, your boss looks on this site, wouldn't want ya to get into trouble................:wi:

i'm curious too, i have yet to see a 6.0L in an overloaded service truck (must be an F-450 you drive) set a code for over speed/ max rpm reached... they just don't go that fast unless they are maybe falling into the Grand Canyon. what is the terminal velocity of an S-Duty anyway?

2007 F-550, 6L turbo
Looking at the rpm to road speed I think it "runs out of rpm" at about 130kph, 3500rpm. AT 115kph it still has a lot of go.......4200kg rear axel and 2100kg on the front is it's every day girth and 18mpg. On the level I don't think it would have a problem reaching "maximum velocity" in 6th...just give it a k or 2...or3.
