There is a safety issue with the 790’s front brake master cylinder. There are multiple reports (across multiple countries) of this part failing, with the result being that the front brake can seize up unexpectedly.

Master cylinders starting with 635 are the affected part. Needless to say, this is a major safety issue. Here’s what happened to one 790 owner:

LOL. First two guys run to the bike, get it up and start checking it over asking what happened. Rider is on the ground moaning and rolling around. Finally someone asks if he feels any pain.
