What is a good OTD price on a new WR250R?

I am drooling over one at a dealer that is a leftover 2010. It's up for $6700 but that is before all the usual BS fees and taxes.

So what would be a good price for one of these?

Seems like a good price for a good bike. I hope you're buying from one of our sponsors and told them you're from DSBC...

Thanks for the replies guys. I keep an eye on the classifieds but I think most people are keeping them. Cheers
Ps - I"ll want those rims/tires of yours if I get an R2.

Nice looking bike, good price too

Now that you have the cheap stuff out of the way its time to really cut loose with the cash and make that bike yours

Get rid of the AIS, the exup, get a pipe and programmer and you're gonna have a real fun bike to ride. These things are plugged up stock.

I'm super tempted to do just that. I just really like the DB level on this thing. My last bike (DR350) had a Q4 setup and was still way too loud for me - I couldn't talk to my buddy next to me with the bike idling. I dig the stealth factor too - in the past I've ridden some local areas that are probably frowned upon. Also, I just figured my MPG and it came out to 71!!!!! So I may not need a larger tank for quite a while.

I've added the PMB rack and dialed in the suspension - shock at lowest position, sag at 105mm and clickers all about in the middle. So far liking everything except for some jerkyness off idle - have to get used to the EFI.

If you pull the exup, and ais off and put on a fuel programmer you will get a way better running bike with no noise increase. Leave the stock exhaust on, it works great if you like quiet. I used an fmf programmer. plug and play.

Those that know me think I'm nuts - and I probably am, but I sold the WRR (overnight) and went to a plated 450F.
I found that the WRR really needed to be wound out a lot and that didn't match my riding style - I like short-shifting and lugging sometimes.
We'll see how I do on this machine - accidental wheelie in the first block!

I've got the Q4 on mine, no header, and it's not really much louder than the stock. Plus it lightens it up a fair bit. The only downfall to keeping the stock pipe without the AIS/exup is the cat will plug eventually.
