Need a few more toys in our stable! The KLR's were our stepping stone and now
have decided on the R1200GS. Is there a dealer in Washington or anywhere
in the US that can cut a good deal on 2 of them that any of you are aware of?

WOndering what is considered a good deal on them in US dollars?

Any help would be great as we thought about these bikes for a long time now
and seems like just what the doctor ordered.

Hey Yak, did not think you would spot me in an Beemer forum:D Yes, but the bikes seem priced so high in that shop. Before we decided on the 1200 we were looking at the Suzuki M109R's and to get 2 of those in from Washington would have saved us about 13K as they were willing to cut a deal there, so was hoping someone here knew of a dealer south on BMW's that gives good deals.

I understand the economics, but sure wish that the math could be made to work for you to spend your dollars here. Both Pacific BMW (Richmond) and Island BMW (Victoria) are revered sponsors of DSBC.

Please give Ian B and Brian M at these shops achance to earn your business.

Sat on the Beemers one more time then had another look and sit today on the V-Strom 1000. Boy it is hard sometimes to make up ones mind for another bike, but finally decided on the V-Strom. Could not resist the rock solid reliability of the Suzuki I guess.
