I have had my 08 610TE for a year and I have just over 11,000 km on it. The bike has been a blast and it's been great for 600 plus km a day rides. It's got the power up kit on it, but it had more than enough power with out it. So far it's been trouble free and I am very happy with it.

Here's a shot off of a UK GS site I belong too (UKGSer). Some of these guys can really ride these big Adventure Bikes. They ride down to Morocco (which is like Baja to us) all the time. By the way, you would not want to do this on 1200. As the water line is lower.

I was wondering if anybody knows if the "Dirt-Bagz" line is sold anywhere in the lower mainland. They have a steel wire frame that the bags attach too, and it also keeps the bags off the exhaust. Thanks Rick

I would like to get out for a ride and was thinking of heading out to the "Market de Bruce" in the morning. Not 100% sure yet, so I am putting out feelers. I do have to work tonight and it could be a late night. Which would kill my plans for riding tomorrow.

I have a Mitas 130-80-18 on the back. It's fine on the road and wears well. But off road I am not happy with it. It's slides on the rocky stuffand does not bite into the loose stuff unless I sit on the back of the seat. I am thinking about going to a Dunlop 606. Any ideas? Thanks
