06 XR650R Fuel Tank

Just bought one of the two new XR650's left in western Canada. Shopping for a few things for it now. What aftermarket tank is the best? Clarke? Baja Designs?

IMS makes a 3.2 and 4.6 gallon tank,i have the 4.6 and it fits nice and gets around 225 kilometers a tank.Or if you really want a supertanker go with an Acerbis 6 gallon.

$7922 incl taxes and shipping to Edmonton. + baja kit and dot tires. I know i payed a lot but there is none around. The dealer was honest because i checked around and honda was giving them no incentives to sell off these bikes. Duncan motorsports had it. They have one left.

hi. I have an IMS 4.6 gal onmy'01. it fits well and I have used it for three years now with no issues.

That is the one i found. Some say the Clark is a nicer tank but the ims seems fine.

Go with the IMS tank in neutral. It looks WAY better on the bike than the red or white clark tank. You can check them out at Al baker's xr'sonly.com. They have a 4 gallon tank that is just right.
