Hi,guys.

What, if any, have any of you used for a heat shield on your pipe?
My soft saddle bags hang right onto a portion of the exhaust pipe.
Has any one tried just the flexible heat wrap and is it enough?
Its the actually exhaust pipe that is the issue not the pipe up to it.
thanks. Zoo

I have a Giant Loop Mojavi and it doesn't touch, however, I believe that they used to have a clamp-on heat shield for the bigger bags that they make.

As Bora20 said yes Giant Loop makes the one shown above and it works very well. GL bags can sit right on it without issue. I have done it on the F8's super hot exhaust. It just uses a long hose clamp and it's formed stainless steel. Valley Moto Sport would have them (or can get them) where you are. They come with the Coyote and Great Basin but are also available separately.

If you don't want to spring for one you can fab something up.
