BUT what are you using

what make of radio has stood the test of time

what make of head set ( helmet) inserts speaker and mic has stood the test time



2 watts or 5 watts

Robert will sell you the wiring kit for your helmet & thumb-switch for the mic. I think the brand is IMC from Germany and they're good quality components.

Neil or Tom would be better in responding to your actual radio question. I have a 2-year old Cobra set that still works fine...

Just bought the IMC headsets.Going on a 2 week dirtbike/camping/fishing trip,will give a report on them when I get back.The only thing I can say without using them yet...is the connections between the wireslook somewhat cheesy....don't know if they will stand up Dualsport riding, looks like they will break very easily.:mad3:

I recently got chatterbox units for the wife and I, they work great.



My best friend uses the smae unit so we can chat as we ride to.

I hope you looked to see if they are water proof. I have these and found out the hard way that the static I was getting was the water getting in.
