2008 KLR rear brake line

I was in Holeshot the other day and checked out the "08 (not to buy as I am happy with my '02).

The sales guy and I were talking about the changes to the new model and he pointed out the rear brake line which is literally hanging out begging to get snagged when riding off road.

Have any of you new KLR owners noticed this, too?

It seems to be a late mod they made. Earlier photos showed a single piston caliper while the production release version is a dual. So I guess they were stuck trying to figure out how to route it. I was at Bby Kawi last weekend and they said they sold 12 '08's bikes in a week. They were puting a plate on one when I was there. I may not be getting one now as I have a very capable '06. But it sure is a relief that it is doing much better than I originally thought.

Here in Kamloops a new V-strom 650 is $10,600.00 otd. I think I prefer the new KLR to the V-strom.

So does this mean you are looking to trade your V Strom? The one you just sold your KLR to get, so you can get a KLR?:)

My wife likes the V-strom so much that I can never ride without her.
