Another good ride. Where was everybody? This is primo riding time people. I got to follow a leaf cloud instead of a dust cloud. The rain tried to catch us but we dodged it all afternoon. Vague route was up the pipline to Bush, stop at a hilltop view point, under Coq and somehow got over to Long lake Rd. and home. Gps is great for heading us toward a target. That whole area has some good trails from being logged and logged again. Dr

Some great trails today. :clap::clap:

And we got to hear those famous words "I'm sure the road is just 400m that way - let's just try it." :hr:

Ray finds a geocache.

Once we crossed to the east side of the Coq, we headed down the McConnell Lk road on our way to RossMoore. There are lots of nice old FSRs down this way. The connection to the RossMoore side is a little tricky.

One of the routes looked promising on the GPS.

"We are so close", I say. So Ray walks up ahead while I am fighting with a group of deadfalls. "There's too many trees down" he says on his return. So I ride up there. "Holy sh*t Ray, you should see all the trees on the trail up here", I yell. "What a Dork", Ray thinks to himself.

We did finally get through on a very sweet little trail that joined up to the RossMoore FSR. :dr:
