450smr bogging out and stalling

This is driving me crazy. My 05 450smr was running great and then started to stall out at street lights all of a sudden.
My last 40km ride it almost didn't make it home.

When slowing down and downshifting it wants to stall after maybe 5kms of running perfect. Then when on the gas it's hesitant. Iam pretty high up maybe it needs to be rejetted? It's got a jd kit and full exhaust tho.
Could it just be the valves? They haven't been adjusted for a little while.

It could very well be the valves, especially if it does not want to start when hot.

In any case, you should check/adjust them if it is overdue.

It seems to start up fine?

After it's warmed up u have to roll on the throttle. If you hammer the throttle it will just bog and want to stall out it seems. And then u have to keep the revs up when slowing down or it will stall out.
That sounds like valves?

sounds like water in your carb to me. or some other kind of mung in there. tank off,adjust valves,clean carb inc taking every jet and piece out,carb cleaner spray(lots of it) reassemble and report back as to how it is. if it ran good before this happened, you probably don't want to or need to change the jetting. good luck.

So I cleaned out the carb, sprayed out all the carb vents and changed the oring on the gas tank and it seems to be running fine now.
I think the carb was fine, pretty sure it was just the gas tank not getting vented properly...interesting.
