650 and up - riding

Hi mature heavy bike riders!

I just upgraded the rear suspension of my KLR.
I can't really wait until may to check it out and I need to give it some time to settle in before I will join those more technical rides with the Parksville group again.

Are there any 650 riders who might be interested in a nice and easy ride next days/weeks?

Is there also somebody who might have an idea where such a ride could lead to?

i'd sure like to get out for a ride, but I'm headed back to northern AB for work in the next week. Then I'm not sure when I can get back. I'll see if I can get organized enough to free up some time for a ride before I go. What day did you have in mind? Would be nice if we had someone come along who knows the area, or even just pointed us in the right direction.

Well, I'm quite flexible next days. Seems like we will have rain tomorrow...

I don't know that many rides in the Parksville area and the current snow situation might make most rides impossible, I guess.

I would join every kind of ride, but there hasn't been a single ride past summer especially for the bigger bikes and I hope there are some maniacs out there who might be interested in a nice ride. Could be on gravel or not. I don't really care.

Maybe you just post some dates and times, when you might have time, before you leave to AB.

Depending on other interested riders we can then setup a meeting point.

I would like to get some information on the current snow conditions on certain trails.
My bike was waiting for the rear suspension quite a while and I wan't out on the road past two month.

Do you want to do a ride on Friday or Saturday? Sunday I will attend the Parksville Ride.
