Yes, mine started a mild leak between the cylinders, turned out to be the oil pressure sensor had failed ,replaced it with a new one fairly cheap and all was good after.Fairly common problem.

There is also an update on the head bolt nuts.
I beleave the older ones did not have a molded washer on the nut, the update was nuts with molded washers.
At higher rpm's there was some streatch (i think it was called).......and combustion chamber pressures would get past the gasket and pressure up the cooling system and your right boot would get wet.
Big Yetti's GO!!!!! needed the repair, and then the head "nuts" re-torqued when the valves were checked to stop the coolant leak.

Newbusa. That might just be the prob. I had the stupid flickering oil light but that has recently stopped. The oil doesnt look like the oil is coming from the middle of the V but from the back of rear piston. (hope it isnt the head bolts) I will try and look at it a little better tomorrow. It isn't leaking too bad so im not really too worried. I am just planning a trip south this november and don't want it to be something that is a big deal.

If this is the root of the problem is it a fix it myself sorta thing or a take it to a dealer? Just wondering because im in Burns Lake at the moment and not a whole lot of dealer options.

Mine did the same thing and then stopped flashing and that is when it started leaking. You can fix it yourself but not every dealer has them in stock. There is a dealer in P.G that deals in LC8 engines. That would be your nearest bet.But mine leaked for quite a while because i was coming back from a long trip,I just monitered the oil level and fixed it when i got home.
