Advise re Nakusp area rides and trail conditions

"A group of us are planning a trip to the Kootenay area the week of June 8. Staging point will probably be Nakusp. Looking for input, suggestions, advice on some back road touring. How do the FS roads look? Preference is for nothing overly technical. Traveling with my son who is a relatively new to the biking scene. For us it's all about smiles, not miles."

klr4evr from Edmonton needs a hand. Anybody from the area got any info?

Thanks for the help Ripple. Our plan is to land in Nakusp and go from there with no destination in mind. Find a road and go for a ride. If we don't like it we'll turn around and try another.
