Air in Forks instead of Progressive Springs

I emailed RaceTech for stiffer straightwound springs for my KLR but they don't make them as of yet. 7psi air in my forks is my friend for now.

I think my old XL600L had simular type forks and I remember air was my friend too! Don't remember what pressure I was running.
