(Another) Buell Headlight Mod

So I finally got doing the Buell Headlight Mod, but using the Ulysses XB12X parts so I would have a higher windshield. Considering most of my riding is highway with 30% off-road. Though it would be best for me. But want to show it off now thats it on the road.
I'm kinda proud of the finished product.

Nice job.

I aquired that headlight and was thinking about making a quick release/mount system for on my SE for night rides. The charging system is good for 480watts so with all them lights it should rock.

I've been thinking of doing that exact mod . It looks great on your bike! where did you source the parts and how $ was it? One more thing , does it do a good job on the highway keeping the air off you?

nice work!

I was able to source all the parts through Trev Deeleys (Scott was extremley helpful).
The stock windscreen is not bad at all for everyday riding and such, the wind hits me upper chest but I am planning on getting the higher version for longer rides.

I ended up getting a lot of extra components that I didnt use, but give me a week and I plan on posting a compete list of parts and prices. I also have a fabrication drawing of the mounts I manufactured and will be posting them all for anyone else interested.

It wasnt all that cheap, but dang it looks good and throws a helluva-lot of light! And I expect its going to be a monster when I add a relay to allow both lamps to light up in the high position.

Quick calculation puts the package at about $650. Certainley not as cheap as using the Buell Lightening front end version, but give you significantly larger windshield area.
Will update soon.

Another Buell headlight mod from a noobie to this forum. Any suggestions on soft luggageoptions?

Welcome and Great First Post DR@abp!

I really Like It! Is it noticeably brighter than the OEM?
Great Job with the trimming around the shroud.
What dose your mounting bracket look like BTW!
