[align=center]new one is a 2006 dynaglide,old one is a 1976 superglide.30 years=electric leg vs kickstart,fuel inj vs S&S carb,oil bath clutch & prim chain vs open belt & dry clutch, 6 vs 4 gears.both are very fun to ride. [/align]

The Superglide gets my vote; the 4 speed etc. keeps the rider sharp!

The GVMC is holding it's annual Open House in early March; check it out - you'll probably meet some like-minded people. A few of us DSBC'ers are members there too, and you'll find a real variety of street bikes, includingHarleys.

They need to hear more dry clutches!:hb:

Hey tony , i just picked up a new harley a few months ago,(06, custom sportster ) my first real ! road bike ! had to sell my klx to get it though ! i have allready paid the harley tax , put on new risers and drag bars,new seat and tank ect.. ,it sure is addictive.........

99 FXD,95 inch SE 203 cams Dyna ignition,Hooker 2-1 tuned flow exhaust,3 nights porting the heads.And a 99dr 650 with Harley <Buell>. headlights.hi-comp piston,some head porting ,weld remomed from header pipe,muffler internals removed.Now if only this winter BS would go away!

I've got a 2005 1200 Roadster which has been almost trouble free. After 15000 km the warranty rebuilt the front master cylinder and that's all except for a new choke knob. I bought it because I was getting tired having to re&re the street stuff on my 99 360WR Husky and don't regret it. It might be different after I get my new TE510 on the road. I plan to leave the street stuff on for dual sport riding.
