The forecast looks pretty nice for the weekend, anyone going riding on Saturday? Not looking to do a weekend loop like michelangelu, just have some fun on a day ride. Who's in?

Don't have a plan yet, but was thinking of going back up Sylvester Road (pistolpete and I were up there a few weeks ago) and see what we can get up to. Maybe also wander around the west side of Stave Lake. Any other ideas? My only thing is that I have to be home by 6 for some guys to service my fireplace.

Hm. Stave seems so .. inconsequential. Is there anywhere else to ride to? Hm.

Slackeye, what do you have in mind? I don't know all the fun riding places b/c I've only been here about a year and would like to find more of them.

I am in!

Just to let you know that I was up camping up Elaho valley and the snow is deep at about mile 30 if not before. We had to turn around and camp at the spot just past the hydro plant.

Hey North, we are coming from N.Vancouver. Where is a good place to meet should we go up around Stave? Too much snow to go too far but, this will allow us to get on the bikes for a few hours.

Which bikes are you taking? Just asking so I will know if I should ride the 1200 or take the 530.

I can meet you anywhere along the way there.

Hi Frog, I would like to join you. I would take the ferry over to maple ridge, meet you on Dewdey trunk and 240 st at, say 10 am? Then we head to the Stave or further out, like Hawkins pickle

I'm into a ride, good place to meet is at Bruces Market at 240th & Lougheed, if the ride progresses this way. Great back roads on the way to Sylvester,lots of spurs to travel and check outor nice easy ride beyond to Hawkins Pickle and the Nicomen Nob lookout ?? Plenty of offshoots for those needing an extra adrenalin rush and good scenery for us slowpokes.

Hm. Didnt mean to sound like I had a better idea. Sorry. My mind keeps wishing it was May-June and the snow would be gone allowing for 'other' rides.

Carry on ... I'll show up regardless.

At least Stave has a play area at the end (!) .. maybe I'll finally get my Newb wings??
