Nice job, cool lighting solution and big tank, but that supermoto fender looks a little short. Do you get a lot of mud build up on your face;)same question new plastic or paint, if paint what did you use?

I have a short one on my DR650 also........yes do get a muddy face:D

And I see that M-21 on the front has the same wear pattern as the M-21 on the front of mine:?. Center nobs like new and the set of 2 worn down heavily. I will try a different front next time. I think Pirelli has changed something on that tire because none of the other ones a few years ago wore like that on the front of mine.

New plastics.

Gonna stick with the MT21 fronts for now, wear pattern is directly related to running it hard on pavement.

For long pavement runs (touring) i will switch the front to a Avon Gripster.

Yeah im sure the front fender will give me a little less protection from the mud.

 Very nice, Not sure if you can get milk crates in matching black or not? Lights look super cool too. 07 DR's will be black so there should be lots of available plastic in that colour. Cheers RoscoeP :hb:

My M-21's did exactly the same thing in the front. It makes corneringon roadsextremely wobbly once it wears in that pattern. The rear wore just fine though, hmmm.

Will see how the Track Masters hold up.

tank fit and finish is excellant, delivery was speedy once we ironed out the bugs (time change between oz and here/ phone calls etc)

I cant really attest to the weight difference when riding as once i mounted the tank i went to California and did 6000km or road touring so now im used to the added weight.

Price is hard to swallow but i compared it to the permium i was paying for only 1 more gallon with clark or ims and that helped, seeing a im now 2.3 times larger capacity over stock.

2007 DR650 is black. Your dealer should be able to order the plastic in for ya.
