UPDATED******************************

Not sure where to put this but BMW is entering two 450s in the Romaniacs challenge in, you got it, Romania. Looks, uh,interesting? I like the "safety" hay! I wonder if they have a "globe of death" stage too!

The first couple should be here next week, along with the first wave of F800GSs.

The bikes are supposed to be here for the world introduction on Sat. Sept 20th. Which I think is Toronto speak for "be out here sometime next week" :)
There will be bikes on hand until about Sept 30th because they need to be fitted with a different tail light/ lic. plate ass'y and they won't be shipping the NVISs, needed to register them, until the updated parts are here. So drop by next week to take a look. I'll post here if we get them for the week end.

I did start stretching early with my KTM 450EXC-R. Street legal from the showroom floor $8,999, 6 month warranty.

Sorry Brian but I know that you would not want to misrepresent the competition! LOL.

But three years unlimited mileage? Incredible. And then you can always unleash the extra 11 HP with the magic switch. ( I presume this voids your warranty?). So you end up with what, 61 HP out of a 450? Holy crap! (no warranty, fuel injected - just to keep with the proper format)

Magic switch: You can run a different fuel map I believe. It is from the factory. I don't know how you "turn it on". Maybe you need to reprogram the confuser or maybe you hit a switch. I doubt it will be easy as I'm sure it will increase the engine stress and BMW will need to protect their warranty. Someone must know?
