Bowen Island ?

Has any one ridden the trails on Bowen?
Trail forks list them as dirt bike but I am looking for some confirmation before I head over there and end up getting chased into the ocean by the locals with pitch forks and torches for being a monster.

They are motorized and the Bowen club is working with FLNRO Rec Sites and Trails on some of them. Please note there is in fact a huge anti motorized group so please do your best to keep noise and ground disturbance low. There is actually some great support for motorized from parts of the non motorized community as well but it is always a battle. Tread lightly.

Thanks, I spoke one of the guys in the Bowen club. He agrees with everything you said and that right now isn't a great time. Teere is some discussion around access anmd land use going on currenlty and of course non-essential travel issue. I will check it out at some point but will park it for now till it makes more sense and isn't part of the problem.

Yeah I have been holding off riding over for a rip around myself but will sometime soon if possible!
