Simon, the main spur would be fine but the route up to the lookoutmight be a challenge on a 1200, kind of tight somewhat overgrown trail, depends on your comfort/confidence level. Come on out anyways and maybe do part of it and take a break if it looks to be to much and then we can continue on with a mixed/amended plan to get you some gravel time. It's all about the casual dualsport gathering:tup:.

Cheers, Alex.
Hi Alex

Okay, sounds good. I'll see you at 9:00 for breakfast and will come along as far as my comfort level dictates. If it gets a little much for me and my machine I'm happy to head back or find some gravel and let the rest of the group carry on.

Cheers
Simon

Many thanks to all the boys for a great ride today. I really appreciated you helping me out through some of the more difficult sections and not getting too pissed-off with me and my big 1200 slowing you down. :)

Still have a smile on my face and looking forward to riding with you all again soon.

Cheers
Simon

Good ride today and good work Simon, glad you kept at it and enjoyed the ride. Not many 1200's see this viewpoint:shock:.

Before this we probably made it 22km on the mainline before snow turned us back. North actually timed it just right to find us as we were leaving the lookout, then some split for home and some went to hoover for dessert. Again a good ride. A few more pics before I fall asleep;).

Cheers, Alex.

Hey Scooter, so much to do and so little time. Gonna be at bruces for breaky on Sunday May 24th @ 9:30 a.m. Only have time for a short trip up East Stave just to check on current snow level, might only spend a couple of hours on the trail. Looks like riding season is heating up, saw some other ride ideas posted up and maybe some others of the breaky crowdmight have a bigger ride plan.

Cheers, Alex.

Hi folks. Excuse me for high-jacking this thread for a moment, but if you are looking for a ride on Sunday and you wanna join other DSBCers, Tom has organized a trail clearing day on Church Mountain in Chilliwack.

This is what Tom wrote:

"May 24 9am is this coming weekend for any of you who were going to participate in cleaning up this trail

We will meet at the East side of Liumchen (Tamahi FSR) entrance to the area. Thats over the bridge on Chilliwack Lake Road where the Kayak's do there thing and turn right go the the gate about 2 kms.

You will have to bring gloves and one of the following

Mattock

Pruning saw

small shovel

pick

remember you will have to ride to the site so you will be carrying whatever you bring on your back"

Check out this thread for all the info on why we are doing this:

Now back to your regular Breaky/Coffee at Bruce's Market discussions.

I had put this on my high priority list, but alas it seems my listwas trumped:spl:. Like I said the season is heating up and no shortage of dualsport stuff to do. Will regretfully have to miss this one and hopefully revel in the pics of a glorious :ss:day of dirty fun.

Cheers, Alex.

Hi Phoenix, if I feel better in the morning I will join you for a spin up to Stave. Fighting a cold or flu but can't miss out on this nice weather.

OTG, Tobster and I went to check out snow level at East Stave, good news is snow has receded enough tomake an afternnoon of riding. Had fun crossing the small slide and my crossditch skills seem to be in fine shape. Didn't see any thing for wildlifeuntil I got home and locked up the bike at the CONDO DOWNTOWN MR:shock:.

Cheers, Alex.
