I'd like to meet up with you guys and do a little riding but I don't know if I can get to Bruce's by 9:30. What time do you usually leave Bruce's for the ride?

Have no plan, I'm currently behind in bike maintenance:shoot:but since I ride a DR it could prolly' make another ride. However a casual friend has purchased a Ducati monster of some sort and offered a test ride so I was thinkin' of takin' some street time just to switch bikes and such on Sunday through the Farmland and valley areas.

Will know more by Sat. evening, otherwise I'm into ride, hike, markers, hatchets, etc. allowing of course for the DR650's willingness to cooperate in such escapades:p.

Cheers, Alex.

P.S. One hour usually accomodates breaky unless otherwise noted.

FYI
I'm a part time musician and we're playing at Skinnys Grill in Hope Sat night. But it looks like we might finish up by 10 which means I should be home around midnite or so. I live in Ladner so it'll take me about an hour to get to Bruce's. I've reached that age in life when I do need a decent nights sleep so If I get home in time I'll try to make it to Bruces by 10ish. If not I'll take a pass and try again in a week or two.

Alex either riding keep us informed by saturday. If you decide to ride the DUC, I could switch insurance and bring the sport bike. Although a women could easily spoil the plans for sunday.

I'm up for some dirt riding tomorrow. I wouldn't mind getting started a little early to avoid the yahoos and to get the most out of the day -- maybe 8am or so?

As for where to go, I'm pretty easy to please myself, though I'll bring some ideas just in case.

Hey Alex, good to finally meet up with you guys at Bruce's. Many thanks for the BCDS stickers - they look great on the DR. Sorry I couldn't get there any earlier. It's over an hour from Ladner to Bruces and I was up a little late last night so I didn't get up in time.

I went up the west side of Stave past the head of Allouette but didn't see anybody on a dualsport. Mostly quads and 2 stroke enduros. Had a great ride just the same. Sooner or later I'll connect with you guys - hope it's sooner. We have a gig next Sat nite and it looks like it'll run a little late so it prolly wont be next Sunday but the two weeks following are looking good. Hope to see y'all then.

Hey Farp, Good to see new/old guy's out for breaky there's quite a few weekend riders (young and old) that like to ride this area and glad to show you around all the fun back roads and short cuts to the bush. Your New DR650 needs a scratch or two.

Alex, Thanx for the DSBC stickers, now all three DS bikes have em and my P/U too!

Big booger,Thanx for the 17" tube,My little XT250 has been givin me trouble after sitting in a basement for 27 yrsand Ive been workin out the glitches for 3 weekends. It's a sweet little Bike and I cant seem to get off of it, feels like an old school YZ with a plate! :bliss:

See ya Sundays:br:

Hey Big White, Your right about the DR needing a scratch or two but my ambition is to keep it as mint as that pretty little XT you're riding - like that's gonna happen lol. For the time being though I'll settle for mud and bug splatter and anything else that washes off - the scratches and dents will show up in due time.

Hey Toby, how did the re-jet work out on your bike? Did it make a noticeable difference? Looking forward to going out for another ride with you but I'm prolly not gonna be available this Sunday til the afternoon. The next two weeks are looking good though.

Hi Farp, Phoenix et al,

Cheeseburger and I had a great ride on Sunday, we headed off around stave lake area, not surewhere we where exactly but we managed to get pretty far out eventually popping out in a beautiful spot next to the lake shore. I think Cheeseburger is going to post the route at some stage. Lots of loose rocky climbs and 1 tricky stream crossing made it a fun day.

Farp, as far as re-jetting the bike goes ive decided to hold off until I hit 6k, originally I was going to re-jet and then just drill the exhaust baffles out, Ive now re-thought this as its means I would have no spark arrestor, which is no good. Guess I will have to buy an aftermarket pipe.I have bought new rubber for the front n backthough and its way better in the dirt now so watch your mirrors buddy!

Hope the fork work went smoothly Phoenix.

See's y'all on sunday :bliss:
