tried to ride today at the POSTILL- too much ICE!! :shock:so test rode the KX500 down streets in my sub-division instead[the neighborsLUV me]..WHOA!!- this thing is extremely powerful and with the icy conditions was quite a freeky ride...fresh gas and clean air filter helps alot -now will put downstairs for teardown and make over...so can anyone recommend a good shop that can do-up a killer motor???UPDATE:went for a blast today[DEC 27th] since its now not sub-zero temps..the turkey and hangover feeling was replaced with "holycrap"..then all the young kids in the sub-division copied me andwere riding their bikes as well....since its warm now, will tear down tomorrow....

not even rode the KX 500 or taken itdownstairs to work on..:shoot:..am igetting lazy in my old age or what?LOL..i want to get a WINTER project street bike as well- maybe an ol CB550 or 750 or a KZ[again]ETC..i still have some $$ left over from selling the HUSKY so any one out there got an old project bike that they want to let go of ????

How about a CBR 1000 ?

Prety sweet bike needs verry little. Mostly front farring.



O4KLR has it and just may part with it.
