Well, back at it, I finally got all the parts needed, so....... Pretty much reverse everything that I've done so far. Install head making sure to use a CALIBRATED torque wrench. I borrowed a junker and snapped a bolt. Put the chain onto the boss, and make sure timing lines all line up, slide in the cam. Turn it over a few times to make sure timing still lines up.....yup,...good. On with the camshaft cover and other goodies. It's well past midnight, and I have to work at 7, so that's all In can do tonight. I'll set the rocker/valve lash tomorow and finish up with the carb and intake/exhaust stuff.

:clap: It's alive! Started up no problem, ran smokey because of the oil I had put in the cylander to ease with the oil-less start. Ran it for about 2 mins, checking the oil flow to the top end, and then shut her down and put all the body panels back on. Double checked to make sure everything was skookum and tight. Got the gear on and took her for a nice easy run around the block, rechecked the oil. Everything sounds good, so I went out for an eighty km break in run. Nothing too high in the rpm's. Lots of varying speeds.Haven't opened her up yet, but she deffinately has a lot of power compared to stock! No problem picking the front tire up in third gear, and yes Phoenix, I did a ship-eating grin crackin wheelie or two. Got 'er home, and rechecked the valve lash,no change, so i justre-torqued them.
