Canadian online retailer????

Hello DSers:

I am in the market for a KLR in the next month or so (just in the process of taking a motorcycle course and working through my learner's permit!).

I will want to install luggage, rack, and some extras - there seems to be lots of selection available from our neighbors down south (eg DualStar, TPI, and others) but not much in Canada that avoids the customs charges.

Anyone know of any Canadian online retailers with similar offerings?

I go to Bby Kawasaki and they cut me a little break because I bought my bike there. It is still a bit more expensive but I get it now and get to look at it and try it out. Plus Mannie in the parts department owned KLR's before and is an expert. He won't upsell you or push stuff you don't need. I wanted a luggage guard for my exhaust and he welded an extra bar on it and repainted it before selling it to me to make it better.

Other than that, the U.S. is the only way. You can ship it to any of those mail box places across the border in Blaine.

The only thing I bought online in canada is a gps at gpscity. There is also gps central. Both in Calgary and you don't pay PST.

Also, keep in mind that your KLR will look used very fast. So don't get hung up on new stuff. Ebay has lots of stuff for sale at prices well below market.
