Sounds like your float level is set to high

Are you sure that it is the carb causing the bike to stall? I know that the DRZ 400's are known for this. The stalling is caused by the sidestand dropping enough from the impact to activate the sidestand switch. Most of us disconnect this switch and the clutch lockout switch as well.

Yep, it might be the kick stand switch all right. Another thing to check is if your DR350 has a CV carb, like the 400S.

On CV carbs, the throttle is opened by a vacuum that works against a return spring, and is not directly connected to the twist grip cable. The cable opens a butterfly which provides the vacuum which opens the throttle.

Problem is the throttle is a heavy slug, and the spring/vacuum balance won't keep it in place on g-forces. And if the vacuum is leaking, this problem is made worse. A leaky diaphram at the top of the carb is the most likely culprit for a weak vacuum.

This is much easier to check that float levels, which I have no experience with.

Good luck!

I had a ton of trouble with my DRZ and the side stand switch. Every jump or bumpy trail it would stall. It was killing me, so I cut the wire leading to the kick stand and wired it back to itself. Huge difference, it ifixed all my problems. I would reccomend everybody do this if they have one of those silly switches. Definately try this before you start messing with the carbs. A cheap easy fix , THAT ALMOST NEVER HAPPENS.
