Drove past the EXIT last weekend and saw the gate was open.
On the way back, we stopped to verify and sure enough...the gate IS open. Met a couple of guys there and asked if it was ungated all the way to the mine...guy said yes, but still full of snow, they had ridden up there on their sleds a few weeks back.
So what's the scoop...has the mine been vacated again? Have operations ceased?
