Chilcotin Area: Access via Redstone Chilko Newton Road (River Road)

Hi there.

Planning a Chilcotin tour for the end of August (fires/smoke permitting).

I haven't been on the River Road for ~15 years and the last I heard (few years ago) the culvert at the Bidwell Creek crossing was washed out and it required advanced off road skills to cross it and carry on.

Anyone have updated condition info?

We may come from the South or the North so any info from either end is appreciated!

The river road is good to go. I have traveled that route a few times in the last couple years. Buswell creek crossing is straight forward on a big bike. It’s roughly 60km from bailiffs ranch through to Henry’s crossing .

I'll probably be on my CB500x so should be able to make it, was suppose to be on the DRZ but plans have changed.....
