I am going to do a little riding and GPSing around the Tamahi area. Help is alway welcome. Might include some hiking, if you dont like hiking you can always ride

I will be working on a small trail project that I would like to get off the ground early in the new year. I first have to do the peliminary work.

The general scope of the trail is have access from Tamahi Campground to the Church Mountain Area without having to use the Trans Canada Trail or the Vedder FSR. This would be best if it could be a one way loop to and from. The trail must be wide enough for quads and the trail must be EASY for new riders.

I have most of the route is done but have to gps and make notes on what work needs doing. I have already started the ground work to get funding for this trail. BCORMA, ATVBC and MoTCA have all had positive comments on the plan.

I will need breakfast so if anyone is interested where do you want to eat

I will also be taking the bus from surrey so if you need a lift let me know

C'mon Art, are you standing in front of the closet saying "I don't have anything to wear"? Just throw something on, the season is expiring fast! :ted:

I'll be at the golf course at 9:00

What do we bring?

Hiking boots or riding boots?

Sawor mattock?

GPS or roll chart?

Is that project a small project or a "small 400 meters" project? :D

F- Bomb and KoKa- myster nice seeing you guys at :br:even if you didn't come 2 ride

hawk , tom, Kerry and i put on a few kms and checked 4 that trail. looks real promising as really its just reconnecting an overgrown (but nice) road. On either side of the creek you can see the opposite banks road so not much question about route 2 follow.

No canon 4 me today but i got asmidgen of ATC3 helmet cam and here is a still from that

Also Kerry rescued me with his nicely built jumper cables. I have done this before andused 2 much battery starting my bike more times than it can handle in a short period of time. Yes i kicked it but on this occasion was a little stuborn and like tire irons i think i will (mentally) include the cables on a "must have within the group" list

I had a great time on this ride in spite of the rain and cold. I was finally able to make it up a couple of hills that I have struggled with before  and the "Dashboard Trail" has now been completed for me, at least in one direction.

It was cool to get a chance to try the new cables in a real world setting, they worked like a charm and are so easy to use. They just hook into my battery tender wire.

I made a video of the ride but the footage is not as good as I would like, the camera lens starts to fog up and there is nothing that I could do to keep it clear. Some of the footage looks like it's from "Twilight" waiting for the vampires to jump out of the trees! :hr:
